This is frustrating! The Wordpress update installation keeps failing.
So, I'm trying to update Wordpress to the latest version. The first thing that happens when I click "update now" is it asks me to enter my FTP password, since it says it needs verification from my host. After enter the info and clicking "proceed" it returns this error;
The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.: wp-admin/includes/update-core.php
Installation Failed
I understand about file permissions within the 'wp-content' folder. Those are correct within the file manager folder on my host. But it DOES say wp-admin above, and I don't know what to do about THAT.
Does anyone here have any suggestions?
P.S... I've also explored installing the update manually...but I'd prefer to do it the 'regular' way.

I think you have two options:
1. Create a support ticket first to make sure that you don't have any problems with your site. Are you hosting it here at WA?
2. If you have a premium wordpress theme then you need to contact your wordpress theme support for some updates
Then contact your hosting support. Or if your theme is free, then most probably your free theme is incompatible with the latest wordpress version.
I could not get the photo to change and never could get any help.
Also they want more money after just 2 weeks and I cannot get anyone to reply about that.
This has not been working out to well. I understand being frustrated!

I really don't understand are you joking or serious? I've been here for a year so far and have never had any problems. All my questions have been replied so far and Kyle doesn't need anyone's money if they want to leave they are free to do so. Kyle always replies to my messages. Within a year he didn't reply only once but this can be understood because he always has about 50/60 messages in his inbox and it isn't easy to reply everyone on time.
I don't know the answer to your question, but my wordpress account has been glitchy today. I wonder if something is going on behind the scenes?
