The little things.
It has been a tough week for me on many levels. I have a lot of projects on the boil, none of which are financially rewarding as of yet, all of which, however, require hard work and attention. I have to admit, the last 24hours has seen me question the point of all this work, and contemplate throwing in the towel. Its a strange sensation knowing you must persevere, but not having any clear path through the mess.
Then i decided to google a review i put up on my site through the keyword search term. Before today, i hadn't seen my review on any page. Today, i found myself at the top of page 6. Now, i know its not page 1, but its the mere fact i got ranked that has lifted my spirits. The work i am doing is working away, slowly, and now i have something tangible to equate to it.
It is always the little things that help to sustain me when i waver from the path, so to speak. This little ranking adds fuel to the fire to want to be better. Not just here, but in all areas of my life. Having to persevere isn't a bad thing, I simply need to see it in a positive light - that it is good to be challenged, and come out the other side.

congrats on making it to page 6 before you know it you will be on page 1. I finally figured out my niche and am on lesson 5, so you are way farther along than me. You may get to listen to my late night ramblings before long
Sometimes it is a win, when things seem to go the wrong way. We have to choose our battles more conscius and put the work where the heart is and trust it will be allright one way or another. Best wishes. :)

Also, remember that not only your main keyword will rank, other keywords from your content will also rank that we might not be aware of.
