R.I.P. to The Rut I think

So I created my niche website just over two months ago. Made it to the About Me and Privacy Policy page creation before a weekend trip to Texas led way to almost two months of mental ruts, writer's block, and failure to come up with ideas as to how to make my site halfway decent.

I've since begun to turn it around and am finally at a point where I feel like I'll be able to start pushing out content. Granted my niche website is a fantasy football based website and the NFL regular season starts in a little over a month. So I want to make sure I push enough content for my site to be useful to people for the upcoming season, while at the same time not completely burning myself out as I work a full time job on the weekdays and contribute to two additional fantasy football websites on a regular basis.

I figured I would hit a theoretical wall in my journey, I just didn't expect it to happen so soon. Kind of a downer. But not one that I can't recover from. My main goal is to be able to one day make enough money to be able to make running my website my full time job.

I want to be able to do it not just for me, but also for my hopefully-soon-to-be-fiancee who has been taking NJ Transit into New York City almost every weekday for the past four years to work. I know she's tired of that kind of grind and I feel like I'm slowly but surely convincing her to create a niche website for herself through this platform. She may work for MLB Advanced Media, but her true passion is beer. She contributes reviews of beers and breweries to a website and I think she's very good at that. It's just a matter of convincing her that she can potentially make her passion her full time job.

Anyways, that's where I'm at right about now. Conitinuing to formulate my game plan for the pushing out of initial site content and going from there. Definitely getting close though and will keep all posted as to the progress.
