Hello Everyone,

"Ramadan Kareem" to you all, this kind of greeting is used between Muslims as the holy month of Ramadan has been started since May 27th, Ramadan is the name of the month in which all Muslims fast from dawn until dusk, we're talking about around 19 hours a day in my country, the length of fasting varies from one country to another based on the location, some countries fast 22 hours a day!

Our fasting means spending all these hours without eating or drinking anything, even smoking is not allowed, we practice our lives normally, we go to work, we bring our children from school, look after them, cook food, clean the house, visit each other, while fasting, and we focus on praying, feeding poor people, reading our holy book Quraan, and being patient and faithful.

The first couple of days are the hardest but later, things get simpler, your body is highly adaptable to all kind of changes in your surrounding, which guarantees living longer, so staying without food or drinks for long hours is not impossible, it just needs a great control on your mind and that's it.

So If you're struggling to lose weight, and the reason is that you can't stop eating; you can get the power you need to resist food from Muslims around the globe!

So what are the benefits of fasting:

- Gets rid of toxins through detoxification process that starts when you start fasting.

- Increases the level of endorphin hormones which make you feel good and satisfied.

- Improves the immune system and solves many health problems.

- Lowers the possibility of developing Hypertension and Diabetes.

- Lowers the load on the heart muscle.

- Restoring the strength and vitality of the body's organs and tissues.

- Lowers the level of fat in blood and in the body.

- Gives a great re-freshness for every cell in your body.

- It makes it easier for your to relax and meditate.

Ramadan is only once a year, it comes and washes up our bodies and souls from all impurities, and leaves it clean and fresh, so it can support you the rest of the year.
