So let's say you're at your computer doing something productive, like writing an article, or doing design work, or maybe even doing some coding.. and you've noticed that you're having a significant amount of trouble staying focused on the task at hand. Sucks, doesn't it?

Let's face it - this happens to the best of us. We put ourselves in an environment thqt is conducive to our productivity, but it's just not happening. What do you do? Do you turn away and try again at another time? But what if the thing you are working on has a crazy deadline that needs your undivided attention?

For me personally, when something like this happens, I have a simple solution to fall back on - it's called Focus Booster (https://www.focusboosterapp.com/). This is a simple application that is based off the Pomodoro Technique, where you work on something for 25 minutes straight, then take a 5 minute break before jumping back in.

The nice thing about this application is that it is very non-intrusive and is minimized when you run it. That way, you don't feel pressured to have a giant timer on your face as you try to finish what you're doing. Instead, you have a little widget at the side of your screen that counts down and even changes color depending on how much time you have left.

This little application is a lifesaver for me, as I've used it time and again whenever I wanted to meet deadlines. It keeps me locked in on what I have to do and limits any possible distractions on the way.

I highly recommend this for anyone who wishes to keep a great amount of focus in what they are doing, or just wish to limit any outside noise from disrupting their work.
