I had this idea that I would present my posts to a friend of mine for proofreading. I did that regularly until her school year started. She home-schools her children, so she's pretty busy. I came across Grammarly and immediately thought that it was a paid site. However, I was wrong...ish.
You can use Grammarly for free. It differs from a spell check as it scans for grammatical errors on top of spelling errors. It will correct punctuation, subject/verb agreement, word confusions, and much more. I actually have the Grammarly chrome extension so that my social media posts are automatically scanned by the site. It won't make my language sound absolutely perfect unless I pay (which I'm considering since I'm so happy with the free product). But, that's $29.99 per month or a little as $139.99 per year.

Every employee of mine who writes uses Grammarly. I was introduced to it by an employee from Bangladesh about a year ago. I have some issues that I called Grammarly but they were unable to solve it. Being a master programmer I solved it for myself. Other than that it's been a great tool.
Grammarly stopped working. I had to figure out how it was interlaced into various applications.
