Done, Just In The Nick Of Time!

Now I Can Celebrate!

I shall start from the beginning. My Godson, whom is in the Navy, station in England, invited my husband and I to his wedding. The wedding is to be taking place in the Bahamas, the first weekend of May. Some say it is kinda silly to go to the Bahamas in May. It didn't matter where it was going to be at, I was going to be in attendance. Especially, after what I felt, here in Minnesota, to be the longest winter in history.

Also, we are traveling with the mom of the groom, my best friend for over 30 years. This is like a dream come true for me. To go on vacation with my bestie, and for it to be her first vacation of this nature, not to mention being her son's wedding.

Then I decided, that it would be a good time to build an E commerce site. So I went about setting up (I thought) a reasonably attainable goal for myself, to have done by the time we head to the Bahamas. I stay more on task when setting goals for myself.

We essentially leave tomorrow, but being today is my birthday, my vacation should have started today. Remember that goal? I hadn't hit it yet as of this morning. We were planning to go trout fishing today, that wasn't going to happen with this goal looming over me. :)

It's all about the desire to change for me. As I read not too long ago, " Desire is not a hope, it is not a wish, having a keen pulsating desire is what it takes to make success a definite."

I am happy to say, that I have just reached my goal! :) And that adds so much, for me, to this trip. And the day isn't done, we will still be able to get in a nice meal and a lovely bottle of wine! :)
