How To Become A Super Affiliate Marketer - Lessons Learned From The Challenge

I would like to start off by saying, I am not a super affiliate marketer, but I would like to share what I have learned so far from the super affiliate challenge. I believe it's the challenge itself that teaches one on how to become a super affiliate marketer. I am being stretched.

That in itself is what it takes. Spending less time on griping about the work, affiliate programs, training and blaming everyone but myself on why or why not success is happening. Plain and simple, it takes work. It takes effort and requires taking the extra effort to do things like reading terms and conditions and leveraging what you have rather than what you don't have.

It also requires failing and getting back up again. Just like learning to walk when we were young children. What do children do when they learn to walk? Yep, they fall down a bunch of times and then they finally learn to walk correctly. It seems really dumb to think becoming a successful affiliate marketer would be any different.

Accomplishments So Far From The Super Affiliate Challenge

It has been exactly a month now since the Super Affiliate Challenge has started and as mentioned above, I have been stretched. I have written more articles and posts this month than I ever have. The result? I am ranking on the first page of Google for several affiliate review posts and my search console results look pretty awesome.

So far I have taken action on the following:

  • 3 WA post
  • first week 2 keyword rich posts on my affiliate boot camp site
  • Created a good Logo for my site
  • research almost 50 low hanging fruit keywords
  • Created 3 videos, 2 of which are ranking on the first page of YouTube
  • 6 keyword rich posts
  • repurposed two older review posts that are now ranking on the first page of Google
  • Stopped chasing shiny objects.
  • Cleaned up my boot camp site and changed over to a premium theme
  • Reached the top 200 rank in WA
  • Posted all of my new posts on all of my social media channels
  • revised my YouTube channel to be specific to my affiliate boot camp site.
  • Made all of my pages and posts more readable by making them readable without having to scroll down on mobile device view.

What I have Learned So Far From The Challenge

So far I have learned to spend dedicated time doing actions that will move me forward to my goals and less time on time-wasting activities like griping on social media and in the WA community itself. Wow, what a time sucker that is.

With all the comments even WA'rs lately complaining about various platforms within WA, you can spend all of that time writing and creating your own blog posts that are more likely to make you money. Money making activities would be better time spent that complaining about various platforms in WA. Especially the blogging platform, which, by the way ranks in Google.

I have learned that if you write on your WA blog using low hanging fruit keywords and then socially sharing those posts, can result in WA affiliate sign ups. Better time spent than complaining about the WA blogging platform itself right, or participating in Kyle bashing activities. Big waste of time. Come on folks, lets take our business seriously and stop wasting time being critical of others. Whew, I finally got that out!

I have also learned that if you just follow the training and some common sense like reading terms and conditions that even participating in Facebook requires (Yes, even for newbies) then you will be more likely to rank in the search engines based on good keyword research taught by, what I feel, are the best experts in the keyword research industry.

Yes, Kyle and Carson are top experts in the area of keyword research if you weren't aware of that already. You will not find better training in that area anywhere.

Not to mention Jay's weekly live training s which are extremely up go date.

OK, enough of the ranting on my part....lol

What is Left To Do To Complete The First Section Of The Challenge?

Before the next section of the challenge is unlocked, I still need to:

  • create 4 more WA blog posts.
  • Share 4 more WA blogs or training on my social media channels
  • Write and share 6 more Keyword rich posts
  • Become an Ambassador of the WA community.

I have a lot of work to do with this challenge while working my full time job and running my QA consulting business. I simply do not have enough time to sit around and complain and gripe on social media or in any other community. Time to stay focused with the job at hand of making sure my own business succeeds.

SO, You Want To Be A Super Affiliate?

I believe anyone can become a super affiliate. It requires work, effort and to leverage all of your training, tools and resources available to you. It is YOUR business, not someone else s and it is YOUR responsibility to make it work.

I also recommend going through both the Certification training and the Bootcamp training regardless whether you plan on promoting WA or not. There is so much value in these two training s. The Bing and adwords training alone is worth a ton. Do you realize how much bing and adwords training like this costs in other programs?

In addition to this, watch Jay's weekly live training and if you cannot make the live training watch the recordings. These are available to all premium members. This training to is extremely valuable.

Folks, lets all focus on what we have and not on what we don't have in order to run a successful business. There are some serious earners within this community and EVERYONE started off as a newbie.

Well said, Ralph. I appreciate you posting the SAC assignment. I didn't join and wish I had now so I need those assignments anyway. All of us can benefit from these challenges. Just because we are slower doesn't mean we won't succeed. Hope you will keep posting your assignments. Linda

You have covered a lot of ground since the challenge started. Well done! Keep up the good work...

Thank you Fran!
