Day 2 – Bumps and Changing Plans
Hey folks, I’m very happy to come back and touch base with everyone on the second day of my journey through the Wealthy Affiliate boot camp. With that said, I have decided to change the way that I’m going to be doing this moving forward.
Let’s face it, if I write every day about how much content I’ve created and where I’m at in the Boot Camp, I think it’s going to get a little redundant over time. So, instead of doing a daily blog, I’m going to update my status monthly and let everyone know what I’ve been up to during the month.
I believe this will be a little bit more informative over the course of time, and let’s face it, writing a daily post is going to take away a significant amount of time that I could be spending on my site.
Okay, with that news out of the way, I did want to touch base on the first speedbump that I have found on my journey. As I mentioned at the end of day one, I had started to write my Wealthy Affiliate review.
I ran into a problem with my content being a little too long for my liking. When I finished my first draft, my review was over 6000 words in length.
As a freelance writer, I’m used to being a little wordy. I’m also accustomed to creating thousands of words of content every day.
I believe I subconsciously channeled this when I sat down to write up the review of my time here. Thankfully, after three rounds of drafting, I was able to shorten the review down to just over 3000 words.
I think it’s informative but not too lengthy.
If you'd like to have a look and let me know what you think, I'd appreciate it.

The reason that I mention my review writing issue is to show everyone that all of us have some bumps along the road.
Even though I'm used to creating content daily, it’s never smooth sailing, but what’s important is that you don’t become discouraged and you keep pushing forward.
Again, I hope that everyone continues to follow along with the updates, and I look forward to touching base with everyone again in February.
Best Wishes,
Tony

Looks like a Wednesday travel route!
Sometimes slow and steady is the best way to go.
