Conquer whatever is holding you back from success

Identifying the main problem in my life helped me to achieve my current peace of mind. I'm by no means satisfied with where I am in my life right now but for the first time I'm content.

I spent the last 10+ years of my life drowning in debt and because of that, I was able to set a goal for myself. My goal was not only to get out of debt but to understand why I got into debt in the first place.

For myself I got into debt because I took the wrong advice. I took that wrong advice because I wasn't mentally strong enough to simply buy what I could afford when I could afford it. What's worse is when I was in debt I fell for almost every get rich quick scheme there is, was or ever could be which helped to add to my debt woes.

I was desperate and not a very likable person at the time, debt made me hate myself and what I had become, so I made the choice to be frugal and focus on my needs and not on my wants.

I worked in total 3 jobs to pay off my debts and I also read books, articles and listened to audio tapes that gave strategies on how to get out of debt. In January 2015 I was out of debt and since then I've been able to focus on the person I want to be. Being in debt didn't allow me to focus on the person I wanted to be. Because I had all those pesky bill collectors hounding me for cash.

For myself I found my way to a peace of mind by getting out of debt, now my focus will be on building an internet business. I know people that used debt as leverage to become financially successful unfortunately I'm not that smart.

So for myself this time around I'm going to start at my own pace I paid the annual wealthy affiliate membership fee and I'm going to do this at my own pace. I'm sure I'll make some dumb mistakes but I know I'll bounce back and the best part I won't have bill collectors calling me and asking me for money.

I'm writing this in hopes that it will help someone to look into themselves find and conquer whatever it is that's holding them back from success.
