Wealthy Affiliate - Month One
One month in to my website and so far so good! Even though I have yet to make any money, one day (less than one month after making my website), I received 47 page views! That might not seem like a big deal, but to me it is, especially since my site wasn't exactly one month old yet. I don't know what happened that gave me that many page views, but it made me very happy!
The page views have dropped down since then, however, with less than 10 views as of the 11th. But I keep hope alive knowing that I just started and that like anything else, it'll take time and patience to where I want to be.
I'm also happy that the average time people spend on my website exceeds 96 seconds (the average amount of time people spend on a site's page). Ths means that my content must be pretty good for them to stay that long (which is something that I worried about).
During the next two months, I plan on continuing the program and writing quality posts. I know that for the first 3 months, not much will happen moneywise, so my expectations are low in that area. I just want to focus on writing quality content and attracting followers to my site since more followers = more money in the future.
With classes starting again in a few days, I'll have less time in a day to focus on my site. Where I have spent several hours in a day on Wealthy Affiliate and writing my posts, I'll only have a few hours a day to devote to WA and my site. It's not bad, but I just prefer to have more time to do things especially since there's so much that I want to do.
Well, hopeful I can stick to a schedule that satisfy me. Can't wait to see what next month will bring!
