Another Rewrite

I have written this once but as my luck seems to go it didn't take so here we go again.
Yesterday I was trying to verify my websites for Google and Bing webmaster tools except I couldnt figure out where to go to find the <head> spot where I was supposed to go to enter the code.
So I wrote to site support for instructions. They sent me back an answer it said. Send us the code you are trying to enter and go start a new post or page but don't publish it save it as a draft.
I got this answer right away and I appreciate that. So I did what I was told and they did what they said they would do and entered the code for me.

However this did not take care of my problem because I have more code to enter there and on another site.
I really do appreciate how fast they answered me and the help I was given. But I do need to know how to do it myself so I don't have to ask for help everytime.
I'm beginning to think I'm a little thick headed because if I said retarded someone would tell me that I shouldn't use that word it is not politically correct. Instead of giving me the right answer to my question.
Now that I have vented I feel much better but that still does not help me with my backoffice problem.
Anybody have an answer for me? I would be really grateful.
