Hi Diane, thanks for responding.
Yes, like essentials a small home business owner would require, a website, social media content, designs for collateral like visiting cards and letter heads, logo options, etc. I want to know if we could offer something more as part of the package.
Will price it accordingly.
The package seems good. Have you thought about adding discounts to other services (yours or others that you can link with via affiliates) ?
How are you targeting your prospects?
Well, my primary services and retail and office fitout design and production. I would not be able to offer discounts there as each project is customised. And my target market in that regard is varied.
I have not been able to think of how I am going to target them with regard to my new offering for small home and individual business owners apart from word of mouth, I am thinking of social media but need to work on that. And as for linking via affiliates, I don't know how to go about it, unless my website starts to gather some traffic. Am I making sense? Which is why, would greatly appreciate your advice.

This site (WA) focuses on building an affiliate website (you make a percentage from what your readers buy from the businesses you promote). Are you planning to build an affiliate site? I think it would be a good addition to what you are planning. Your primary service is one business model. The affiliates would give you additional money potential without adding products or services.
Have you started the training? It takes you through the process in very easy to follow steps.
Yes, Diane, I am on level 2 bootcamp closing towards the last couple of modules. I am definitely waiting to build an affiliate site and promote WA and I don't know what else I can promote. And don't know what kind of content I am able to put in that site.
Since you are targeting business people, you have quite a wide range of possible affiliate products. Consider office products (desks, chairs, computer equipment & software, even artwork for the walls) and possibly meals (the home delivery ones) for those busy days...almost anything that a person in business might use.
Oh Wow, didn't see that. But I live in Dubai and I think affiliate marketing is still nascent here. Not sure but my scope has actually opened up after I got here.
I shall check those possibilities out too. Would definitely need your advice.
With affiliate marketing, you can reach anywhere and everywhere in the world. You are not actually selling the products. Your site just tells about them. So you can target products and customers anywhere.

Moved content from the siterubix to .com earlier this week. The .com website is live now. Will changing the template while live affect the content on the site or any technical
not at all. It may affect the way it looks because all themes are different. Once you change to the theme you like, you can then go into your WordPress back office and realign everything. Send me your link and I can take a look at it to give you some feedback.
If you change the Theme, then your website will change yes, however, your content in your Posts and Pages will not be directly affected.
If you want to change the theme, I would suggest going to Appearance -> Themes - Add New, locating the theme you want and clicking Install.
Then go back to Themes and click on Preview, so that you can see what it will look like, along with making any changes you might want to make.
Ony when you are happy with the new look and feel of your website, you can then click on Activate, so that the changes are applied for all visitors to see
