My July - August blues
So, it has been a rather tough last month. My business, like that of many others, has been affected rather badly and so I spent quite a bit of this month wallowing. And areas related to the business gets affected as a result. I haven't ever let too many things affect me, in general. I usually dust myself off and try and keep moving. This one's quite different, I guess. Doesn't seem to get off my back. And was also very inactive here at WA. And that got me further down. And so a beautiful snowball was building up :)
So, one day last week, decided to take the bull by the horns. Had never been much for networking but I realised it is something one has to do. You gotta do what you gotta do, even if you don't prefer it. To get visibility, to get known and referred. So, my inactive Linked In profile was given a polish, put up my company profile, started to get connected to those relevant within my industry...I think I'm doing the right things.
So, got a couple of responses for my requests to connect. Things have started to move.
This week has started to look and feel better now. So, in a nutshell, its just so easy to get into our shells and stay put and get scarily comfortable there. Let's not :).
Just a share.
Thanks for listening, though none of you guys have a choice :), haha.
On my last module on Level 2, it's taken longer than I thought but I'm there.
Cheers. Hope you guys had a lovely weekend.

Hi Raghu, there are always going to be days like that, when things don't go smoothly as we have wanted, we have no choice but to pick up the pieces and continues from where we stop. Keep wining. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Igho, thank you for the encouragement. Yeah, absolutely agree. This is a great place to put in more energy and effort. Plan to do that.
