Introduction

Good Afternoon to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as usual I hope that you are all well and keeping safe.

As I have started to do on a Sunday I am writing my blog before lunch, this way it gives me time in the afternoon to do other jobs like gardening and any house work, with the nights not drawing in so early.

Must confess the weather has made a lot of differance to my attitude regarding everything, funny how the sun affects us isn't it?

With today as an example I was up early (for me) put the Washing machine on, had breakfast, went up to the shop for a paper and some Milk (This could have waited until tomorrow, Monday being my normal day to replenish the Milk) when I returned the washing was done, so hung it out on the line, some has dried all ready!

As I have mentioned lunch already it is fairly simple today: A Ready Meal Roast Lamb Dinner, followed by Bramley Apple Crumble, which I will serve with either Custard or Ice Cream, followed by the Cheese Board, I have some Shropshire Blue and Blue to use up, plus my usual Cheeses.

I think that last week I had thought about starting to put some of my recipes on this Blog, I have a change of mind, these will only appear in my Cook Book!

The Last Few Days

The title gives the clue to this weeks efforts, some of you may remember that last year I decided that I have too many web site titles on the site, as some of them have come up for renewal I have let them go! As a result I have looked at those which I will keep and started to make inroads into one or two of them.

Please do not groan and say "more work?" I will explain, I hope! Those that are ready to launch in that they have all the basics done, like copyright, even an introduction, etc. I am deciding which ones that I tould like to work on, such as my Cookery site and have begun to work on the "Freebie", in some cases have even begun to draft an EBook.

I do know what you are thinking, but it does keep me interested, I know, I am just sad!!

The reason that I am reluctantly letting some of the sites lapse is I suppose obvious, a simple matter of cost, like several hundred pounds a year. I am now getting selfish and think that anount of money is another holiday!!

With the weather being so good I was able to fill my two compost bins before they were collected on Friday, also begun to remove more overgrown branches from some of the shrubs.

The Next Few Days

I do have an appointment with one of my Banks on Tuesday, no doubt they will want me to take out more insurance, but I am getting good at saying NO. Does give me a chance to top up odd items in the freezer and look round the shops.

Will spend sometime in the garden if the weather stays kind, also continue to look at the webdites that I intend to keep.

Think that will do for this week as my Tummy is shouting to be filled. Probably the rare Pint that I have just enjoyed!
