Introduction

Good Afternoon to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always I do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well!

Some of you may have guessed the reason for this weeks title, it is a year today since my dear wife of fifty-five years passed away. I have spent most of the day in quite contemplation, recalling some of the wonderful times which we spent together. I have been quite calm considering, did not how I would feel, I still miss her dreadfully but as they say life goes on!

For a change today instead of putting pre-done roast potatoes in the air fryer, I bought some potatoes yesterday, peleeled and sliced them and put them in some fat in the oven, they were lovely, as was the rest of the roast beef dinner, I suppose that if I am honest the beef was not quite as nice as I expected it to be.

The Last Few Days

In many ways I have been fairly busy, have spent a few hours in the garden, was able to fill my two compost bins, also did some more pruning of some of the shrubs, I will get there, but the weather has not been the best for gardening, unless you are a duck!!

I have been having fun sorting out some of the mountain of PLR which I have, it is now slowly been accumulating on the hard drive, must make a decision and get it sorted!!

Walked into the local town three times again this week, tried a different super market to look at there selction of freezer food and was pleasantly surprised, so will give it another try this week. Since I stopped driving I am finding that I have been trying out different shops, which is surprising considering that I now have to walk everywhere, or go by bus!

Spent a few hours going through my stamp collection, which I always enjoy doing. This one has taken me some fifty odd years to put together, having sold a couple of earlier ones before I started again!!

Been having trouble with my washing machine, had a chap in, thought that it was sorted, until this morning when after the washing cycle finished, it was still full of water! So it is back to the drawing board.

Bought some red roses yesterday, they are in the room where Yvonne passed away, she did like me buying red roses in her later years, so she could see them from where she was lieing.

The Next Few Days

Not sure quite what I will be doing this week at the moment, it will take me a day or so to sort out exactly what I will decide to work on!! It will be fun deciding where my interests will be best focused. Let us face it I have enough of those to make it fun deciding what to do, that will be beneficial to my business.

Think that going through my file on PLR may just be the best place to start!! But like everything else we will just have to see, and for once really I must make the effort!!

It is really time that I began to get to grips with life and the business, or I might just as well pack it all in, but this I will not allow to happen I have spent too much time and come too that money to walk away.

Having read the last sentance I will spend the next few days, sorting out just waht I need to do to get back on track.

Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy/

Please do stay safe,

God Bless

Stuart

Hey VH

Thought I'd respond quickly before I head to bed early tonight and maybe read a tad as it's too early to sleep. I have this respiratory thing going on. I'm coughing like crazy and congested. I'll take some drugs and if I don't feel better by tomorrow, I'll head to the dr. This happens about once a year but it's annoying. It totally drains me of energy.

I was DRAGGING this morning but I didn't want to let the church down. It was my week to serve. I'm attaching a photo of the parking lot. The ice that we got was insane!! I don't have a big driveway but it cost me $150 to get my car, stoop and drive quasi cleaned and they worked for hours using a pick ax and shovel. I never could have hit the ice as hard as those guys did but it's still a little wonky getting in/out of my drive. It doesn't look like it will melt any time soon either. At least I can get out if I need to.

WOW, I can't believe it's been a year since Yvonne passed. It seems like last week. It sounds like you did well though. I'm sure it will get easier as time goes by.

My MIL had a stamp collection. I wonder what the kids did with that. It's not something that I wanted to continue but I can't see any of them doing it either. I've kind of lost touch with the family although my BIL called me for Christmas. I was SHOCKED. Her birthday was yesterday. She would have been 96. I miss seeing her but NOT driving up north in that snow.

Well, I have to get upstairs and get my jammies on. This coughing really tires me out. I hope you have a great week!!!!!! Take care of yourself!

Always
Your VW

Forgot the photo.....

Stuart, I've been married for forty-five years, one person at your side is not something that you easily forget. Have a blessed day Stuart

You also. Have a blessed day

Hello Stuart,

I can totally imagine that you are now trying different shops. When you had the car, you most likely went to where you would find easy parking, do your shopping, get back in the car and drive home. Now you walk past different shops and see things that you would not have noticed from the car. I think this will keep shopping interesting for you.

About 14 months ago I was seriously wondering whether to pay for yet another year of Wealthy Affiliate. I looked at it, was amazed how much it had changed (for the better), was intrigued by AI (and all the AI credits that I hadn't used), decided to renew and haven't looked back. I've loved being here every single day, love working on my websites, learning new things every single day.

I think when you sort through your PLR articles, you will find that you'll want to carry on with this or that topic. So just go with that gut feeling of what interests you and what you would enjoy working on.

It's very wet here too - but also the first signs that spring isn't too far away.

It's lovely that you put the red roses in Yvonne's room. As you say, life goes on. Let's appreciate every new day!

Hi Isabella,

Another interesting reply from you, understand your comments regarding WA, you and my own thoughts are that I get to use AI a lot more and also the WA site.
I realise that I do need to sort things out and get organised.
I have a crocus in flower also a Daffodil in bud, so spring is certainly around the corner.
Will take your advice and go with my gut feeling.
Have a great week.
God Bless,
Stuart

Such a touching post, Stuart. It’s clear how deeply Yvonne is still with you in the little everyday moments. Sending you strength and comfort.
