Must Learn to Conecntrate!

Introduction

Good Afternoon to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.

Got things wrong again this morning, went to the shop for a couple of bits, thought that when I got back that if the rain held off I would go in the Garden before I started my weekly blog! Made a coffee, read a bit of the paper, was very comfortable in my big chair, woke up two hours later!! Must be honest it was the football that tired me out yesterday it was total rubbish!

Thought that I would make a start on this before I prepare lunch, do know what I am having today! You will guess if I say that when I went shopping on Friday that I stocked up my ready meals, so that I now have five in the freezer!

Correct, I am having a cuppa soup, followed by a ready meal which is Liver and Onions, then Triple Chocolate Gateau, may have Cheese and Biscuits afterwards, will see how hungry I am. No doubt a Glass of Malbec will help wash things down!

The Last Few Days

A little hit and miss, having spent three days at the cricket, must confess that I was rather emotional when I left on Thursday Evening, to such an extent that I might just go back next year!

I do have my reasons, the renewal has come in, same as last year without the T20 games, which I think I mentioned I have difficulty attending, so I have until the end of November to make a decision! I will miss all the friendship that going to the Cricket brings, also the mental relief that chatting brings with it, so I will have to think long and hard before I make a final decision, I also would like to book my holiday in the next few weeks so that I can take advantage of the no extra charge single rate!

Most of the week has been taken up by Cricket, it was the last home game of the season and Derbyshire actually won!! I did manage to fill my two Council Compost Bins before they came on Friday, but very little else in the garden!

Had a look at some bits on the computer, failed again to get the Cooking Site started, also looked at a couple of stored items, which has given me food for thought.

Did watch the Last Night of the Proms last night always a tear, more so as they played two of the Hymns that we had at Yvonne's Funeral.

The Next Few Days

I was talking at length to my Son the other day discussing what jobs need doing on the House, also in it, his commented are you coming to terms with things Dad! do you know I think that I am, Yvonne will never be forgotten, but it is time to realise that life goes on and that I should not let things stagnate as it where.

We promised that he would give him our collection of Vinyl records as he also collects them, to this end I gave him half a dozen yesterday, I can use the space in the record cabinet to store my note books which I have for various bits and items on the computor, in other words start to get the business properly organised.

I know that I say this on an almost regular basis, but it really is time that I sorted items out on my hard drive and started to make some money.

The plan this week is a chat with the Bank regarding some items that I am not happy with, work on the garden if the weather permits and put in some of the plants that I have ready. Check what is on the hard drive and sort it out!!
