Little Change

Introduction

Good Afternoon to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well. The title as is my usual want tells all!! Not sure just what I have done this week, well that is of any use, but as usual we will see as I attempt to recap just what has occurred.

The Last Few Days

The weather has certainly played its part with very heavy rain on some days, this has stopped me either going in the garden or watching Cricket.

Talking of Cricket think that I managed to go on just one day and that ended up in me coming back early due to rain.

Several days have seen me have to empty the drip trays in which I have got my potted on bedding plants which I did last weekend, this morning they were certainly looking very cheerful and I think provided that the rain does not lift them out of the containers then they should do very well. Each day has seen me empty around an inch of water out of the containers. I am just hoping that the ground that needs weeding has absorbed enough to enable me to get the fork into it.

One evening I did manage to work on the business, mainly deciding just which website needs working on first, did spend sometime on the cooking website, but as I recall did not really achieve a great deal!!

This morning I did hoe over the ground which I had dug around the newly planted Pampas Grass it is looking really good, new weeds were beginning to appear so thought that while it was dry that I would hoe around them, it is surprising just how much that cheered me up seeing the fresh soil, just hope that this gives me the impetus to keep going, as once again I feel like sitting down and doing nothing.

While I remember today's lunch menu:

King Prawns with Tomato, Oregano and Feta.

Lamb Shank with red wine jus, served with Roast Potatoes, and Roast Root Vegetables,

Double Chocolate Gateau served with Double Cream

I should explain that I bought some double cream this morning as I bought fresh eggs yesterday as I intend to do scrambled eggs sometime and I use double cream instead of milk, it adds a lovely creamy texture to the scrambled eggs, not forgetting the milled black pepper, cayenne pepper and a pinch of dry mustard, when I have any?

Another free recipe - lol.

I did intend to have cheese and biscuits to finish, but for once I had enough!! Forgot just one glass of Merlot with the Meal!

After the meal I sat in my chair and had a nap, of around two hours!!

The Next Few Days

On Thursday we have a one day International England Woman against Ireland, I am looking forward to this, but have to visit the toe Doctor first! Should be able to make the start if the buses connect!! Correction that visit is on a week on Tuesday, still have Cricket!

I have made a start on sorting out the old office, the real reason is that I have still got thoughts of making a model Galleon and need space of the table to make it!! Also it is about time that I sorted a lot of my paperwork out, also the two drawer filing cabinet which I have in there, Finally since the passing of Yvonne I feel able to try to get things back to some form of order or normality.

Think that the shredder is going to be working overtime!

Some of the paperwork which I have to sort out will be my original notes when I first began to work online, that could be fun, also interesting!

Must also concentrate on sorting out next years holiday, before all the single accommodation is taken when I want to go, then like this year have to take what is available and when.

If weather permits need to work in the garden!

Getting back to the business must also be top of the list.

It is funny when I write these notes to you all I feel really fires up, it is a pity that it does not last!!

Do need to visit my two Banks as I need to sort some things out!! Also a Wednesday is a good day to go. and my daughter cannot come this week as she has a Dental appointment.
