"Man Flu"

Introduction

Good Morning to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.

As I have got the Sunday Dinner all on, thought that I would make a start on my weekly blog, in case I do not feel like doing it later!

I have been struggling all week with a cough, cold and chest infection, at times I feel OK, at other I just want to curl up in my chair and go to sleep. In fact on Tuesday I should have gone to a funeral, when I woke I could hardly speak, so phoned the chap that was going to take and told him that I did not think I should go, he agreed, I had a bowl of Bran and Grapes, and went back to bed, where I spent a lot of the day asleep!

Forgive me if this is short as it will depend on how I manage to think what to write, also how I feel.

When I feel like this, one thing that it never does, is put me off my food!! Today I am having stuffed Breast of Chicken, Pigs in Blankets, Roast Potatoes, Steamed Brussel Sprouts and White Wine Herby Gravy, followed by Triple Chocolate Gateaux, might even have the cheese board. Have a tiny piece of Double Gloucester left, if need be bought some Wensleydale and Cranberry, so could try that as well!!

The Last Few Days

First of may I thank all of you very much who made suggestions regarding how I should proceed with my business, all very usful and I intend to bear them in mind when I get going properly again. In fact use some of them, will start to get sorted as soon as I feel that my mind is properly switched on!

I have managed to look at some of the material that my mentor sent me, but it will let you know how I have felt when I say that I did not go to the football with the lads yesterday. Infact as I said to my Son when he phoned last night to see how I was, I am seriously thinking of not renewing my season tisket for next season as it has gone up quite a lot,

As I said I can go on almost two holidays with that money! As the game is always on the radio, I can listen to it in the comfort of home, I will miss the sompany of both the lads and the friends that I have made who sit around me.

It has been annoying that the weather has been quite nice, but I had more sense than go in the garden.

The next Few Days

I hope to start on looking at finishing one of the books that I have started to outline, need to make sure that I know which website to use, and follow my mentors checklist.

Will take it steady and not rush as I often do when I decide to start someting new.

Forgive more this week as I have enough sat at the keyboard for now.
