Holiday Time

Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.

As promised the Sunday blog is being written on a Saturday as I am off to Bournemouth Early on Sunday Morning, my Daughter is picking me up, to take me to the Bus Station to save me walking with my suitcase and other bits.

I have my suitcase packed ready and checked the weight, so it is all systems go as they say!

Must confess that I really cannot wait to get going now, I so need this break, just hope that the weather stays kind all week, I have bought some more factor 50 sun cream in the hope that we get the weather!

It is a good job that none of you can see me on Holiday as I have packed not one, but two pairs of swimming trunks, all right swimming shorts, as the Hotel has a Swimming Pool. Fancy a dip before dinner on Sunday already!!LOL.

This will save me going down to the sea, but I do love being in sea water, it is always so refreshing.

The Last Few Days

Not really done a lot as I have been getting things ready to go away. Went into Town for some new slacks so that I look reasonably smart when I am away.

The last time that we went to Bournemouth, in fact the only time that we went, was on the off chance of finding a Hotel with a room, as I had not long had my stroke and needed to get away, I saw vacancies at the Palm Court, this used to be on the Radio on a Sunday Night, thought that the price was very reasonable, so there we stayed.

As we lay in bed one night watching the News, Yvonne said "This is the nicest Hotel that you have ever bought me to"! She was right! totally by accident as well.

We found one or two nice Garden Centres as well. One day we came on the Chain Ferry to save driving round, all in all a good Holiday.

I have found some research material for when I come back so that I can get to grips working on some new products.

The Next Few Days

I have decide to have as much rest as I can this time, so no laptop or tablet will be going with me! Will pack a note book if I feel the urge to make some notes as I lounge on the Beach, but we will see.

I have packed a sketch pad and a tin of pencils if I see anything that I can use when I return home, I do find that when I am away that I quite like to sketch as the mood takes me! I also find that it makes me relax as well.

Whilst I remember I am not due back until late Saturday night, so hopefully will be able to blog on Sunday as usual, surrounded no doubt by mounds of washing.

Will sign off as I have lots of containers to fill with water before I go away!!
