A Busmans Holiday?

Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.

After a pleasant break in Bournemouth, with pleasant company and great weather, I am back home doing the normal grind. Did not realise just how much washing that I had managed to gather whilst I was away, but that is now all dried, just needs ironing - any offers!

The Last Few Days

Spent a very nice week in a good Hotel, with excellent food and Company that had a similar age level to me, and in many cases a similar personal life, so I did enjoy it. The Evening activity apart from an entertainer was Bingo or Tombola, the caller was not very good, when it was discovered that I did this when I was in the Air Force, guess who did the last two nights, have to say that I did enjoy doing it once more, even if it was nearly fifty years ago.

Did also manage a couple of turns round the dance floor, which I also enjoyed.

Went on a couple of day trips, the first one resulted in the coach leaving me behind, fortunately I noticed a Bus that was going to Bournemouth, having my Bus Pass in my pocket, I just went back on the top deck of the open air Bus, which I really enjoyed. As a result of this, the company changed their rules to ensure that no one was left behind!

The best rip was to the Beaulieu Motor Museum and House, I went to the museum about fifty years ago, still found it very interesting but was really interested in the House and Abbey Ruins.

When I go away I tend to take a book with me, usually my Kindle, this time I also took one of my books from the pile of books on improving my working knowledge of marketing,

The one that I chose was by John Thornhill "Rapid Digital Assets", I read some of it each night before I went to sleep, managed to finish it, thought that it was excellent, it gave me a good insight into producing a digital product, hope that in time that I can get it to work for me!

Despite the weather I did not lose too many plants, I did spend a lot of time watering when I got home, but at least I was able to see just how much work needs to be done regarding the garden, but will begin to make the effort this week, I am determined to get it done, just hope the weather is a little kinder.

Did notice that a Hollyhock in the main bed was in flower, a lovely Single Red.

The Next Few Days

Apart from trying to tame the garden, if I am honest I really do not know what my plans are, will probably take each day as it comes as I get back into the swing of things, am aware that I need to have a better plan with regard to the business, but intend to take things a little slower into I can really sort things out.

I am still a little tired from my journey, so until next week.
