Hi, all. After watching Wayne's video, it gave me the idea to turn to you for some help researching info for my site. So, my question is this;

Rafi, I have suffered from chronic headaches since last year. The type of headaches they are and the pain constantly changes.. sometimes they feel like a tight band around my forehead (tension headache?) other times I have intense sharp pain in my forehead/temples... and yet other times I feel like someone is stabbing me in the back of my head with dull knives! I have no idea what "type" of headaches those would be.

The worst of it lasted for about 3 months, and nothing really helped 100%. For relief, I took 2 extra strength tylenol along with 2 aspirin and drank caffiene (however I think that's what excedrin is?) However the best comfort I found was a heading pad, honestly. Soothed the pain and made it feel better for at least a little while.

Sounds pretty painful. Sorry to hear. THanks for your input.

Anytime Rafi. Yeah. It's alright they've cleared up for the most part just hoping they don't come back haha.

hey Rafi. Yes i have suffered from headaches, some lasting more then 24hrs. I pay attention to my body and notice that my headaches occur when im not eating right and not getting enough rest. From working in the medical field for several years, i can tell you that headaches can be a sign of hypertension caused by an excessive intake of foods high in salt, sugar and sodium. My remedy is to cut back on those certain foods (weather its foods or sugary drinks) and switch my diet; eating more raw veggies, fresh fruits, whole grains and drinking plenty of water. this is just for me. I sure others have different reasons for their headaches and different remedies for their solutions. Hope you get plenty feed back and hope this helps. And of course you can always research the web as there is plenty of information you will come across. :)

Thank you. I hope you have no more headaches.

Thanks for the mention ;-) I never get headaches sorry ;-(

Glad to hear. No need to apologize

Hi Rafi, let me be the first one to join in your 'project'. Yes, I've suffered with migraine. I've managed it well lately. Aside from Panadol, taking ample rest and having a restful sleep did help.

Thanks for your response. Congrats on being the first :-)

Hi. When I first built my Wordpress site here, I was given tons of themes to choose from. Now that it's built and running, I want to change the theme, but there are only a few a

did you click on the add new, you can search for themes there

also, once you click the "themes tab, at the top of that page there will be another tab that says "install themes" click that then at the bottom of that page there is a tab that says "find themes" click that and all the different themes will appear. I know this is a lot try to follow the instructions and browse your webpage a little. let me know how you turned out...much success

Oh, great, thanks, Charlotte. That was easy. Funny, I know WordPress pretty well, but as I usually design my own themes, I'm not so familiar with this part of it :-)

yes. go to "build my website" click on the actually website and at the top of the page is the page name. click on that and themes will be in the index

great ? Rafi as i was wondering the same thing and thanks for the response Rick

Hi. Go into Appearance==>themes==>Add new. You can even shorten your list by selecting from the boxes. Just remember to back up your site first. And when you switch themes you may have to do some fixing up with your menus and widgets. Not a huge deal but you will likely need to do some tweaking.

I'm looking for that original long list of themes that was available when I first built the wordpress site. When I go to themes->add new, I don't see it.

Click "Find Themes" at the bottom. You should see them

Yes, thanks, Rick. I don't see "Find Themes". Do you, Charlotte?

You don't have the "Find Themes" box at the very bottom, left side?

Hi, fellow WAers

I just used Jaaxy (very cool) on my keywords and came up with the following list. The keyword is followed by the (monthly searches/qsr). However, many of

Blue dot is right, best of luck to you!

Agree here with bluedot - you should only use the keywords that make sense and that you could easily use naturally within a sentence. The reason many of those keyword have lower QSR is because they don't make sense, but when you plug in the entire word you'll notice the QSR goes up.

A great thing you can do to aim for lower QSR is to write around long tail keywords to find 'low hanging fruit'. These are longer phrases people may type that have little competition - like under 100. A great way to find them is with the alphabet soup technique.

For example, type "get rid of headaches" into Google, first start by typing an "a" after the keyword, then a "b", "c", etc. you'll notice that Google instant feature will provide you with ideas that people have typed in already... write those down, and put them into Jaaxy.

They may have lower searches, but with very low QSR you'll be able to rank on the first page with less effort. Over time, you'll start to rank for the shorter version of the keyword too.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/building-your-own-traffic-producing-website/understanding-the-low-hanging-fruit

So to answer the question - Use they keyword that makes sense and you'll eventually rank with the keyword that does not make sense based on the quality that you provide in your content.

Eg - get rid headache (75 QSR - competing websites) vs get rid of headaches ( 239 QSR - competing websites). In this instance using the keyword that makes sense, (although has more competition true competition), you are still competing with the keyword 'get rid competition' - it will just take you slightly longer to rank, In the end you'll find that when you rank for the true keyword, you most probably will rank for the less competitive keyword (get rid headache) even though you are using the true keyword. - hope this makes sense (Good Question though) - Colin

Thanks for the advice, BlueDot

I just went through making the initial pages tutorial. I made the three pages. Now, when I go to the site, it's not there. All I get is "Sorry, nothing found"

You have to change you WP settings to display either a post or page for the homepage. If you have it set to display posts, but you don't have any, it will say not found. You can fix this by either creating a post, or setting the home page to a static page you choose... you can do this within appearance ---> customize.

Thanks.

clear your cache and then try logging in

After you completed editing your new pages, did you PUBLISH them?

Yes, publish your edited pages.

Hi. I'm going to start with a website about getting rid of headaches. The domain name I bought is goodbye2headaches.com What do you guys think of that? Does it make sense? Can

Hey Rafi, thats a great name. Hope you have lots of advice, i may need to use some of it :)....make sure you do alot of research on the subject through the internet. you will be surprised about the amount of knowledge thats out there....much success ;)

Sounds good! If any of you are looking for natural solutions to pain check my site out merrylife.net

Great name! Easy to remember!

I like it too, if you already have plans for it. Actually, I would like to see one for backaches, because I have plenty of them.

yes, I think it's a good name, but better than that you are addressing a common problem with a solution which is even better.

I love it. The number 2 may be a little difficult to convey verbally.

"goodbye, the number two, headaches"

To fix this, get conversation (business) cards printed up to hand out when you meet people. You can get cheap ones online or you can print them yourself.

Once people get the website once.... they WON'T forget it!

Good luck!
