Staying Busy While Stuck at Home
Stuck at home away from other people be great for a while. It is sort of nice break from the normal pressure and expectations. But then comes a moment when you feel that stir crazy is taking over! Boredom! Ahgg! I can't scroll through another news feed, or watch another episode of Blindspot on hulu.
Living in a one room apartment, packed wall-to-wall with stuff is not an ideal way to spend time during a shelter in place order.
I am not a very active person to begin with and I don't socialize much. It's interesting that now, I suddenly wish I could be! I am also not a baker or one who likes to cook at all! But somehow, baking seemed like the thing to do to change up my monotonous day.
We had been given some frozen peaches and if I didn't use them they would go to waste. We also happened to have an abundance of oats as well. So, I decided I would bake up some peach crisp.
I walked across the parking lot to my boyfriends place, (I don't have a kitchen so I use his).
It got me out of my place for the moment and I feel better having just done something different from I usually do.
The bonus is that my boyfriend and his roommate won't eat the peach crisp and I'm diabetic so, the neighbors will get a treat. Spreading some smiles is lots better than spreading the other junk that is going around!
Blogging is another way to do that. We have a great opportunity to spread some good. So, now I need to find something new to say.....
What will you do to pass the time?

LOL, looks yummy first of all.
Welcome to WA, and wishing you much success here at WA.
Funny, I thought when I began here, that with all I had going on my daily life, that I could get through the training, etc. Definitely, was a challenge. Currently, with this stay at home issue, I find it still difficult to focus on writing, and training, so I push myself every morning to research, find great looking images to save for my websites, and m blogs.
I make every effort not to eat or think of food during the day because I am not sure, what damage that would do for me.
I am diabetic 2, so I watch what I eat anyway, BUT, those little thoughts pop into my head, saying go ahead, you dont have to go out today, or no one is going to know. lol, I play mind games with myself. smiling.
I am sure your neighbor would love to enjoy that great looking dessert.
Much success to you.
