Only One Direction In My Future - Forward

Today I walk forward! There is only one direction. The days of moving backwards, to the side winding around, and spiraling down are not for me anymore. I am on the productivity lesson in training two right now. I have spent a lot of time piddling around WA without much direct because I have failed to center myself and carve out a consistent time on consistent days to do the things that I want to do to be successful.

From day one, I have found such an immense value in being a premium member of WA. It is my fault that I have not progressed more by this point. However, when I look back and reflect about how much I have learned and what I have created so far through WA, I am not disappointed. This is not to say that I cannot do more.

I decided on two niches (travel gear and natural hair care, both of which I am very passionate about). I created a website for each niche. I decided to focus on just one site right now (travel gear) so that I can make it successful in half the time. One of the trainings emphasized that if we put all available time into one site, as opposed to two sites, then we will see results twice as fast. This made so much sense to me that I made the easy quick decision to narrow my focus.

The other thing that I have accomplished is to actual build out a novice site with some initial solid content that I can be proud to have authored. As my dad would say, it looks REAL! It is not as polished as it will be, but I am happy to report that when I do my key word searches for two of my blog posts, they show up in the second page on Google! I did not think that would happen so quickly.

Time to answer the call from "content content content" and just keep research keywords and putting out new material through blogging.

My goal this week is two create three new blog posts. I did one tonight, but that cannot count because I am really just creating this goal as I type. The best goals are specific, so here goals. I will publish a blog on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I already set a goal of doing five posts per week on my travel gear site, but realistically speaking I cannot do that until the end of April (I am a master tax advisor with a major tax prep service so my life will not be my own again until after the tax deadline on April 15).

Thank you to the WA community for making sure that I keep my eyes on the prize and begin by setting realistic goals for future growth.

The only thing that beats setting goals, is a achieving them.

Looks like you will do that Rachael, best wishes moving forward.

Alex.

I really love your content as well! It is well written and I can tell its real. I also purchased other domains for the things I like and I know there's a niche for. However, during the training I realized that it will be hard to produce twice the amount of content for 2 blogs rather than 1.

Additionally, I decided to focus on one until I complete the training. I also said that I would continue working on my first site until I started to see money flowing in. In the meantime, I will treat my first site as my baby and give it all of my attention.

Very real and specific goals. You can achieve it.
