A good blog is like.
I was up early this morning tending to my coal stove. The weather was harsh last night and the dang thing burnt it self out. As I cleaned all the ash and pieces of not burned coal out it began to dawn on me that a good blog is like the coal stove. There is no just lighting a fire and throwing coal in and just letting it go. Just like the blog. You can not just write something and throw it in. When it comes to working the coal stove, we need to find the right material to start it with. And then when lit the fire must be added to in order to bring up the temperature just right before adding the coal. Just the same as the blog. You must find the right material to get it started and then carefully structure it in order to get it rolling get the audience lit into it. Then once you have them going you need to keep them going. Now back to the coal stove. Once foundation is lit and the embers are hot enough to catch the coal on fire the coal is to be added slowly not just dumped in. For if you dump it in all at once it saps all the energy at once and goes out. The material in the blog should also be layered in so the audience does not get all the energy from reading it sapped all at once.. The better the layering of each the more heat is rendered. and the nicer the fire becomes. One piece at a time ,one word at a time until the room or the audience is all nice and cozy toasty from the flames.
