My Affiliate Marketing Journey - The Beginning

I’m a new Wealthy Affiliates member and this is the first installment of my blog describing my journey to affiliate marketing nirvana. I’m in the process of finding products to successfully trade, and after I accomplish that, I will market Wealthy Affiliates.

But first, let’s talk about my code of ethics…

1. I won’t offer a product unless I think my customers will feel that they got more than they paid for, so I’m conducting a great deal of research on prospective companies to sift out the best of the best.
2. I will not offer affiliate marketing training (including Wealthy Affiliates) until I’ve created a successful affiliate marketing business. Those who do otherwise engage in “pyramid scheme marketing”, in which they sell affiliate marketing training to others who then offer affiliate marketing training to others who...Highly unethical, in my opinion.

It might take me a little longer to make a buck when I conform to this code, but it will pay off with loyal customers and a sustainable business in the end. Since I’m a 69 year-year-old man who plans to stick around for another 15 to 20 years, hopefully, I’ll make bank before my train goes off the rails.
