Building your first website can be one of the most enjoyable experiences you've probably ever endured. Using something for the first time always gives need their Jitters and I wonder am I going to get it right.

When I joined Wealthy Affiliates to create my first website was a great Idea because I did not have any knowledge of how affiliate marketing worked. With the free trial membership they offered gave me the opportunity to decide if this program was what I was looking for in the training and help Department.

I was thinking that I could create a website and become successful in no time with no work. As I started using the training it became more prevalent that there was going to be some work involved in becoming successful and I was ready and willing to make the sacrifice.

You have to realize that to become a business owner and have it become successful involves Investments. Using your time wisely and investing into your online business is one of the first things you learn while affiliate marketing and building your own website.

I can say this I published my first article on to my website and it indexed to number one and even though I still don't use that website I only use it to check plugins to see what kind of effect they will have on my present websites. This article still is number one in Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

One of flaws that made this website is that it was Irrelevant in the terms of a niche website. This mean that my articles did not have any connection to one niche. They where to Broad.

This means that my sales in promoting a product would be very little if any because people would not be able to use my website to research and find out more information on the product that they are looking for.

So in the process of building your first website keep your articles as relevant to your niche as possible. This will surely have return visitors to your website and help with sales and referrals.

Using the ups and downs that you will experience through creating your first website will be the best learning curve you could have. While using the training to increase your knowledge of affiliate marketing.
