Putting together that first site!
Just wondering about people's experiences in putting together their site. Writing is not easy for me, and I want to do a review/information site about a personal growth provider. I have used his programs and I do have good experience and that is why I chose that first niche. But I don't want to oversell, or undersell. Any ideas?

Quentin,
Just write as though you are talking to a good friend! Check out my website and see if that is what it seems like I am doing. I have had some great reviews so far. Granted, though, I am still learning!
Best wishes for your success!
Paula
So long as you enjoy working on the site, even if it's hard, it can be done. Just be absolutely, brutally honest about the products (plural) you review and try to review products that already garner a lot of interest (but make sure to pick good keywords to rank for).
I think before you can worry about selling, you need a lot of quality content.
Is the website published? If so, you should post it at least in your "Websites by..." section and have us review it.
Thanks! When I feel close, I will publish it to the list here. I have to work up some courage, I think.
I think you'll be fine since you have personal experience with what you want to write about. Many folks have told me they like to see 'pros and cons'.
Hi, I am not a writer either. You don't need to sell. Write naturally as you want to communicate and help others. The key is to create valuable content based on your experience and recommendations. Add your affiliate links to your recommended service/product and you will get a click. The key is to be helpful (for your audience and Google of course) and you will get traffic. My best to you!
