Even though I feel stupid, persistence pays off.
I spent three hours working on my first website last night and for the life of me I couldn't figure some things out regarding how to just change the body of my first page. I just couldn't seem to get it and I don't think I asked the questions well enough to receive answers (I appreciate those who attempted to overcome my ignorance.) But with persistence, I finally did figure it out! I do suggest some tutorials that might take a newbie step by step through the site creation process. And if I did not simply find it, then I need direction (again!). But I just want to tell all newbies who are as inexperienced as I am, PERISTENCE DOES PAY OFF WITH SUCCESS!

Hi Q, I just started the lessons over again from #1. It makes more sense the second time around. One foot in front of the other will eventually get you where you want to go. Feeling stupid is fleeting. Pretty soon you'll be extending your hand to someone newer than you and you'll be feeling much smarter.

Remember, there are a lot of other sources to go to that can help you with learning about building your site. WA is good, but WordPress also has training on using their themes, and lots of other stuff.
