Cancelling website payment, what to do?

Is that for a domain renewal? If so, go to Websites > Site Domains and turn off Auto Renewal. That should be it. Reach out to Site Support for confirmation.
I followed tutorials exactly on getting an Amazon affiliate link onto a widget here in wordpress but the code [html] wont paste inside the widget text box, anyone have this pro
When you have your widget text box open, have you clicked on "text" rather than "visual?" You should be able to copy your html in the "text" screen :)
yes I definitely have the"text" enabled when I'm doing it
even Tech support can't figure it out as I contacted them
thanks for input
It could be a matter of the your theme since not all of them have the same options. Have you searched in your widgets area for the custom html option instead of text?
I have the Twenty Seventeen Theme and tried with HTML module on my sidebar and worked very well. So, why don't test with another theme? maybe it solves your issue
Tommy. did you have any issues when you updated Theme? I mean did it change anything within your site in general [alterations, lose any data etc]
as far as I know I have not customized anything since I choose this Theme
Not in my case up to now, however I know that issues can occur when changing some specific themes

I've set up an account with Bing, gone through all the steps correctly in the verifying of my site. there are 3 options for verifying of your website
Hi,
The easiest way is to go for option 2, because you have no control over the CNAME option in option 3 and neither does it always work all that easy with uploading files, because of the protection layer over files and WordPress.
So again, the easiest option is option 2.
For the Bing verification it is actually simpler than what is said there.
We on WA all have at standard installed the All-In-One-SEO plugin
In this plugin is a section for webmaster verification. In it you will find verification input boxes for:
*Google Webmaster Tools
*Bing Webmaster Tools
*Pinterest Verification
and further on even:
*Google Analytics
At the Bing Webmaster Tools, you fill in the actual long string of code you get for the meta tag. Everything that belongs to the CONTENT part, so: C81AE05C5AB73CFE42AB96C8C69033FF
Then you save the settings and then you go to bing to verify. This should do the trick. No need for meta tags anywhere else or files uploaded or difficult nameserver records changed.
Oh thank you Steven, it appears I was making one tiny error, I included the brackets [at beginning and end of that of that content par]
thanks for prompt response

Got this message from Google yesterday, would anyone know how to go about fixing it?
Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 1 new Index c
Got this message on Console
Google has started validating your fix of Index coverage issues on your site. Specifically, we are checking for ‘Submitted URL marked ‘noindex’’, which currently affects 1 pages.
they have identified it as being on my Policy Page
at least the issue is narrowed down now and I know what it is
on Wordpress how do I go in to edit this so that it reads as index instead of noindex?
Vic,
I remember seeing that policy page noindex about 6 weeks ago but didn't know how I got into it
hope Google are happy with this now
thanks a lot
Sorry, I do not know the answer. But, that is a good question and I'll wait to see what the answer is.
Oliver,
I had not seen that error before so I checked with Google for more information.
Here is a link to the Search Console Help Center that may help to put you on the path to resolution,
https://support.google.com/webmasters
It sounds like you may have issues with your robots.txt file not getting indexed?
There is a robots.txt tester so you can check yours.
Just type Google robots.txt tester into Google to find it. I am not able to post the URL in WA because of the additional URL parameters.
I hope this helps, all my best,
Gary
Oliver,
Here is a great resource from Jay to walk you through, Using the New Google Search Console
You are welcome, I hope it covers your issue.
If not you can write to Jay in the chat after the video.
One way or the other we will get it taken care of so you can focus on the lessons and your content.
Be well,
Gary
does it give you an option to read or learn more? sometimes it will have a link to show more details
