My journey thus far.
So i have just finished course 2 and it recommends a blog post so here it is!
To start i am thoroughly enjoying my experience here at Wealthy affiliate. I did a computer course in college a mighty 9 years ago which involved a variety of components to do with computing. I have always been a bit of a geeky person when it comes to computers therefore being able to learn a completely new aspect is amazing.
My first website is based on my lovely, at times, pets Ozzy, Loki and Bella. These are my 3 cocker spaniels. i have had Bella for nearly 4 years now and she is the mother of the other two therefore we have a lot of experience with this breed already. i find it easy to talk about my dogs as they are such a big part of my life therefore it was an easy decision to make my first site about them. I have come here as my plan is to be completely reliant on money from my online activities within the next 2 years. I am already involved in another online money maker which already doubles my wage but i want more than one avenue before i take the leap and quit my job. (If you would like more information on this keep checking back on my account as i plan to create a new site based around my journey to financial freedom)
3 months - I aim to have started 3 websites based on interests i have.
6 months - I would really like to have started making some money from the websites i will have created. I understand this will be a slow process but realistically after i have put in 6 months of work i would like to see some returns.
My highlight so far has to be the post i put up yesterday and today is on page 2 of Google for the targeted keyword! i can't believe after a week of learning SEO i have ranked a page in Google the biggest search engine in the world. This has give me a massive surge to keep pushing and see if these figures that are being posted in the goals forum can be achieved and if they can you'll be seeing me post them here in the near future ;)
