Let's start with.
Okay, so, first blog post. I haven't had one of these since... early 2000s? That was when Blogger and LiveJournal were still rampant, and sites like GaiaOnline and Neopets [and all manner of pet sites] were the "in" thing. Or are they still popular?
Man, you don't realize how long you've been alive until you look back pre-Facebook era. The Internet has come a long way. I remember begging my dad to get us internet. I mean it took forever to get my first computer. I only wanted one because my BFF got hers first. Do you remember the state-of-the-art machines we had back then? Windows 95, 16 MB of RAM, 256 MB HDD, CD Drive, and the infamous floppy disk drive. I had the fortune of working with the common, compact floppy disk (not those huge, dinner plate-sized floppy - look it up, they exist).
Anyway, onto my day... What have I done today? Signed up with Wealthy Affiliate, made my first site (nothing on there yet), exploring job offers... I tell ya, trying to find a company that will let you work remotely is like finding a needle in a haystack. I dislike that idiom. Let's make a new one. It's like finding that one gold nugget in 100 mile stretch of river. Gotta remain optimistic though, it's what I tell myself everyday. It does tend to wear out, but something needs to keep the shelves stocked with cookies and freezer filled with ice cream.
What else did I do today? Caught up with emails, Youtube... By the way, really hooked on Crime Watch Daily recently. It's iNsAnE the amount of crazy people doing crazy things to other people. How is society like this? So many questions I could get into but I can save that for another blog post.
