Allocating Time, Energy, Resources

Was thinking some today about juggling time, money, energy, passions and so on...realistically it is hard to spend time, money and energy on every interesting and/or necessary pursuit. I am pretty new to Wealthy Affiliate and really like it...but it doesn't mean that everyone I know will take the time to check it out. Part of me likes the stuff I have some degree of control over...example--I am a Registered Nurse and today I was officially hired for a second job as a RN. Fortunately, the second job allows me to work as much or little as I want and even tell them which nights I am available. And no matter how easy or rough the 12 hr night shift is at the various hospitals, I will receive a pretty nice check within about 24 hours after working the shift...

...also, earlier today, I went to gym for an intense bout of weight lifting exercises. Again--something that I had control over--I could choose to work out hard--or not. I did not have to depend on others.

...and even earlier in the day, I traded stocks and forex. Now, of course, I don't have complete control over what a stock does exactly--but I have chosen to learn more about it over time and know something about some patterns to look for that will be likely short-term spikes upward...and how to minimize losses and get out of the trade if it isn't going all that well.

...with some other online activities like my website, my online store, Wealthy Affiliate, the book I wrote which is at Amazon---I feel less control...I rely on other people deciding to check it out--or not. For some reason, even though these have not been as immediately lucrative and I seem to have less control...I still want to do this stuff. Because I just like it and want to do it. Of course, I want to make some money eventuallly also. But there is something intangible and good just in the trying.
