Just switched over to my own url. I see two sites listed on site manager page. Do I delete the old url/page?

I letf my Siterubix one on for about 3 weeks, and then deleted it, just to be sure that everything had been redirected.

Thank you for getting back to me on this one. I went ahead deleted my free account and all is well.

While you can delete the old site pretty much any time you'd like, you'll probably want to leave it in place for a bit.

When you perform the transfer using the siterubix "Move" function, a redirect code gets written into the old site. This redirect code causes all accesses of the old site (even your own) to be directed over to your new site.

Any traffic that's been coming to your old site will automatically go to the new site as will google crawls of the site. After a few days, you can expect that most of the benefit of the redirect will have already taken place. There won't be any harm from leaving the old site in place.

Thanks for the info Bob. Sorry for the tardy response.

I was wondering the same thing! I finally just did it as I was tired of seeing it in my Siterubix.

Hi Amber, I did the same thing thing, I must have missed the training point during the lesson on switching url's. Anyway, I made the switch and all is well.
