8 Second to grab you readers attention !!

How long do you think your readers attention is? 1 minute maybe 2, in fact it is only 8 seconds that's 1 second shorter than a goldfish. So it important when your readers arrive at your site that you grab there attention quickly.

So the top of your site must have something that is going to make them stay and look at or read.

The header is important too many blog pages look cheap and nasty and unprofessional if you don't have a great header design get rid off it and just have your site name at the top in a eye catch font and color.

Your headlines must be big and bold and interesting think how a newspaper works look at their headline what makes you pick up a particular newspaper and my advice is to get rid of banner adds from the top of your page they are old and they generally get ignored so the are taking up valuable real estate.

You a better off putting a big bold heading saying some thing like 'How to loss 10 pounds in one Week" or something similar depending on or niche and make it a click-able link to ether a direct link to your affiliate or to a article on how people are losing 10 pounds a week, this of course means your readers have gone to a second page on your site and search engines like this.

Add a relevant video to your page, 1 or 2 minutes long is all you need and will capture your readers attention to your message.

Your content is so important in the Internet world today, your messaging and copy must be appealing and your best content must be above the fold it's no good hiding it at the bottom if your reader does't get to it.

Keep the paragraphs short put some white space in, you don't want your articles to be one big blob of words. You site is not a book it is a message page and people a looking for a message or information that can help or inform them.

Remember 8 seconds is all you have.
