I came, I joined, I'm doing!

Ten years.

I've spent that much doing blogging in Blogger platform. I have learned. A lot. Mostly form free subscriptions, one of which is Problogge, where Darren Rowse gave free tips for bloggers like me. Then I bought his eBook 31BBB, 31 Days to Build a Better Blog.

Did that help me? You bet it did!

At that stage in my online life as a blogger, that was a big help. You see, I started blogging when a friend persuaded me to just do it, put into writing what goes in my mind, and so I did just that.

And hey, what goes in my mind are usually drifting ideas, thoughts - and yes, so flowing, so drifting. Which reflected in my posts.

No direction, no singular target.

At times, it would be too focused, but in most instances, nada.

Ten years.

Then came WA. I was searching. I was browsing. I was reading...

When I made the decision to 'try it out' - for free - don't forget that, for free, for life, I must admit that really caught my attention. Signing up, I did immediately sense that _THIS IS_ a community. It was actually overwhelming, but with ten years on my belt, I was able to take it.

When I cannot hold myself any longer, I took the big step: I joined as a PREMIUM member. And that opened up the floodgates!

Ten years. The length of time didn't prepare me on what followed next. It was overwhelming! Just overwhelming. However, at the same time that I was drowning in the information and lessons that came my way, I was kicking hard to catch my breath, jerk my hands to do the activities, and plunge down back again to dive deep into what I am currently learning.

By the time I could hold some new things in my head, a week or so later, I bought my own domain. It wasn't an easy decision, no, not the buying of the domain, but the selection of niche. The by-product of my earlier decision, ten years ago, to 'just do it' was that I delved and dived into so many areas, like health, music, software development, DIY, parenting, and whatever would come my already-distracted wandering mind. Not so good, actually.

Anyway, I picked health, partly because I wanted to be a medical doctor when I was young, and partly because I knew the value of being healthy, inside and out. Money won't do you good when you are not healthy. Riches won't extend your life when it is your time to go. And things will never bring lasting satisfaction. Are we still holding on to vanities and chasing the wind?

Okay...

I've made progress, and I had to write down a blog, to catch up with what I have been missing.

I came. I joined as a free member and I tested the waters. It was okay, I thought. And there is a standing offer for 7 days. I tarried, but then...

I joined. It wasn't a mistake, and I immediately immersed in the lessons, absorbing as much as I can, executing the activities as much as I could. And for the next few months...

I will be doing!
