Amazon Affiliates: Take Advantage of Prime Day

Today is Amazon Prime Day. If you don't know what that is, it's basically a "holiday" that Amazon puts on every year for it's millions of Prime members.

It includes extreme discounts on great items and is extremely popular.

Last year Prime Day had gross sales of 2.4 billion dollars worldwide, in one day - almost a billion dollars more than the 1.3 billions made the year before.

This year it's projected to shoot even higher.

How can affiliate marketers benefit from this?

If you have any sort of traffic or following, it's worth it to post your favorite Amazon Prime deals for your readers. Share your post on social media and get others to share as well.

People will be shopping this. If you give them interesting items to click on with your affiliate link, it doesn't matter if they buy them - you will get commission on whatever they do buy in the next 24 hours.

People are going to shop Amazon and buy anyway. Take advantage of that and make some money.

Even if you don't have a ton of traffic, you just need three sales within 90 days of opening your Amazon Associates account and you should take advantage of this day to do that.

I would have posted earlier, but I have not been feeling at all well and typing is tough on me right now. But I really wanted to share this today, because I think it will help anyone who is trying to be an Amazon Affiliate.

That said, there are a lot of great affiliate programs that aren't Amazon that will pay a lot better if you have a more focused niche.

Keep working at it and you will get there.
