From Learning to Building — My Next Step

As many of you know, Wealthy Affiliate has been a significant part of my journey. When I first arrived here, I knew very little about affiliate marketing, websites, or building an online business. This platform opened an entirely new world for me, and for that, I will always be grateful.

Over the past two years, I have spent countless hours building what I call my success apps—tools and systems designed to help people stay focused, take action, and achieve meaningful goals. It has been an incredible learning experience, and much of what made those projects possible came from knowledge I gained here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Recently, however, my focus has shifted in a direction that feels very familiar.

Many years ago, I began my career as a juvenile probation officer, a role I served in for nearly a decade. Later, I built a company that contracted with courts and state agencies to provide counseling, assessments, and related services for youth and families. Helping young people navigate difficult circumstances and successfully reenter society has always been work that meant a great deal to me.

Today, that passion has returned in a new form.

I am now designing and building technology platforms for agencies that work with troubled youth, including those who are currently incarcerated or recently released. In many ways, it feels like I've come full circle—returning to my first professional love, but this time with a technology twist.

Because of this change in direction, I have decided not to renew my Wealthy Affiliate membership when my subscription ends in August.

I want to sincerely thank Kyle and Carson for creating a platform that has helped so many people learn, grow, and build something of their own. Wealthy Affiliate gave me skills and opportunities that I never expected when I first joined, and I will always appreciate that.

For those who are just getting started here, my advice is simple: use what is available to you. Learn, apply, experiment, and keep moving forward. The value is not just in the lessons—it's in what you build from them.

I still have a couple of months left before my membership expires, so you'll have to put up with me a little longer.
