Seeing Some Results!
Before I joined WA, I had started a website, reviewing work from home opportunities. The site was not doing very well.
For the month of December my site got 10 visitors, my Bounce Rate was over 90%, the Average Visit Duration was less than 1 Minute, and my Adsense earned a total of .05 cents.
When I joined WA and started taking the Affiliate Bootcamp lessons, I decided to completely deconstruct my site and start from scratch. I started to build up my pages according to the lessons. And I tied up all my loose ends with my Google+, Webmaster Tools, and Analytics.
For January my site got 40 visitors, my Bounce Rate is down to 48%, Average Visit Duration is over 14 minutes, and my Adsense earned $2.80. And I have barely started rebuilding the site.
I'm beyond excited to see these kind of results this quickly! It has given my a huge motivation boost. Can't wait to see where I am next month.

That's great news! The affiliate bootcamp is something I'm going to do after I get my niche site up. To know that you are having success already is really exciting! I wish you great success!
It's definitely better to get your feet wet with a unique niche. The Work From Home Niche is super competitive and hard to stand out among the crowd. I wish you the best in everything your doing.
Congrats! That's just the motivation I need. I have issues with traffic now... or no traffic to be exact.
You'll get there, just keep writing consistently. Have you set up your Google+ Authorship, Webmaster Tools, and Analytics? This kinda lets Google know "Hey I'm here, take a look ".
I also recommend changing your permalinks to "post name" in the Settings section, copy and paste a new ping list. If you Google WordPress ping list you should be able to find one pretty quickly, copy it and go to settings, writing, and paste it in to the update services box. And install the "Google XML Sitemap by Arne Brachhold" if you haven't already.

They really do. I tried a couple other niche website courses in the past and they kinda steered me in the wrong direction in many ways. Trying to push the bad information out of my mind and take in the lessons here. Thanks for the reply!
