10? or 5? What is your preference for tips?

My niche is getting quite a few of these "top 5 tips" or "top 10 tips". I cannot work out which is the best, or, are they both as good?
Personally, if I was searching for something that meant a lot to me (like saving money on flights!!) I would prefer 10 tips, but a relative said that most people would never read through 5 tips, let alone 10.
Would you read through 10? I know I would, if they were well written, as I want to save money, or learn something new!
I am still trying to work out the magic formula, so have decided to do 1 x 10 top tips and 1 x 5 top tips and work out which gets the most visits after a few months.Share this insight
