Publishing my first Web Site

I have started my first web site with Wealthy Affiliate. I've been following the courses and lessons and I really enjoy it. Each step is designed to move you farther along in the process, and methodically helps you reach your goal.

Common Core.

Now, granted, they aren't all completed yet, but I've started them. I've really benefited from the research I've done for the Common Core and the Reading List pages.

The Common Core (U.S.A) research has been helpful because I can see now all the work behind the scenes that educators are doing to improve education. It's also helped me understand the link between Common Core and the required Reading Lists dictated by the school systems, both locally, and around the country.

Now, the Reading List research was very interesting as well. I shared some of my findings today with "the family" while we are on vacation at the lake. I have a question for my readers: What was the number one novel in America during the 19th century?

I started this web site to promote great reading with your kids and by your kids. The number one book I've read to our son is "A Whole Nother Story" by Dr. Cuthbert Soup. It's actually the first in a series of three books. I wholly recommend it to you to read with your kids or with children in general. My wife and I really enthusiastically recommend the books. We are on our second time reading through them. I'll post some more later about why the books are so great, but I just wanted to start out by saying I've started by web site.
