Life Is Like a Journey. Building Income Streams Is Too!
You've heard the saying, that "Life is Like a Journey." Well, building income streams is too! My father-in-law has said many times, "You need to have several irons in the fire at a time." He is referring to possible jobs to fall back on if you lose your current one, and he is talking about multiple income streams.
I'm writing about this because over the last few days I have been reflecting on a lot of things related to life, success, and discipline.
Last week, it hit me again, "Work First, Play Second." It's easy for me to get side tracked on something fun, and then not get the work done.
Yesterday, my reflection led me to "Plant the seeds for what you want to reap." Or, be mindful of what you are doing each day. Be on target, intentional. The actions you sow today will bring actions you reap tomorrow.
I was thinking about this in the context of raising children and leading/providing for my family.

I understand what you are saying about getting sidetracked. yesterday I wanted to get my about me page completed so I could move on to the "Getting Started" page, but so many things get in the way. You have to verbalize what you want to complete that day. I just said that I would complete the about me page today and by late afternoon it was completed.It works
