As Arnie said in the original version on Total Recall "Two Weeks"

That's how long I've been part of WA and what a blast and learning curve it has been so far. I've registerd two domain names and built out one site with what I thought was low "hanging fruit". I've got a lovely logo for it and had some failry good content.

I had about 8 articles on their all together and whilst it was good practice I have decided to scrap them and go back to basics. My site wasn't niched down enough, I wanted things on their like an RSS feed from a news website and a gallery. My head was thinking along the lines of how fancy I could be. Rather than learn the no.1 thing, deliver good content in an acccessible way that helps people.

So like I said realising that I was way off base I decided to scrap everything, Except the logo and the abut me page, The reason for this is quite simple, basically the posts I had written weren't low enough fruit, even though I initally thought they were, Also they weren't surving a purpose they were more stroking my ego. Essentially I was doing it wrong.

I'm quite a cynical person by nature and having been stung by other niche education promises I went of and tried to see if their were any other "ethical" affiliate marketing sites/personas/you tube channels. I came across three resources that has helped me I feel get a little headstart on my niche journey on top of WA.

FIMP, Income School and Niche Site Project all have helped me get a grasp on this niche stuff a little better. What has been an eye opener for me was the Keyword Golden Ratio by Doug Cunnington.

This works along the same basis as "The Lowest Hanging" fruit principal on the video tutorials here but I think just adds to it a little. It made sense in my head at least :)

There are some good You Tube videos that Doug has put out explaiing this (not sure if I can link them in here, so I won't).

So essentially here I am two weeks in starting over from scratch, However, I now have a 30 strong list of keywords to "solve" problems, provide information on and then also have a few sales/enf of funnel articles (though i'll still provide good informative helpful content).

Do I regret the last two weeks and starting fresh? Nope not at all. It's only through learning and making mistakes can we learn to get better.

If you found this useful or entertaining, or if I crossed any unitentional faux pars please let me know :)
Cheers.

I think a lot of us have gone through this. I am glad we have siterubix.com accounts we can play with though. Before you do something and then you have already paid for a domain
