After leaving Jurien Bay we travelled for several hours up the coast to our next stop at Kalbarri. The following day we did a trip to one of the many national parks up this area of the country and spent several hours driving to different points, and going on walking paths to view from the scenery and the deep ravines which were hundred's of feet deep.

The interesting rock formation along with the explanations of it's history was informative and interesting. These parks are always popular as there are always lots of tourists doing the same as we are.

Later on in the day Brian and I went fishing just below where we are stopping and had a little success, which we had as part of our night meal.

On our last day here today the weather is fine and sunny with a pleasant 23 c so we went for a drive to visit several viewing areas along the rugged western Australian coast line. It was an easy two hour journey with beautiful roads and the same with walking tracks. From one of our platforms we could see whales surfacing as they made their way south. We were also fortunate to spot some seals rolling in the surf.

This afternoon we had a final fling at catching some fish, but again without any luck. Tomorrow we go to Denham where we will see dolphins possibly being hand fed in the wild, more on that next issue
