Two years ago, I renovated my apartment. The walls were empty and blank. I wanted some nice pictures on the wall, something real. Real paintings cost a lot of money, at least the ones I liked. So my walls stayed empty for a while, and every day I would sit in my living room looking at empty walls.

I already had a hobby called napkin technique. Its when one cuts out a design from the napkin and places it on the desired surface, it ends up looking like a real painting. But that was not satisfying for me, it was still not my design. One day I was looking at some youtube videos of people painting, and I thought "let me try that". I got some cheap paint, some brushes, and a canvas. With the help of a video I painted my first painting, I was so impressed by the result and in disbelieve of what I was capable of that I continued. In time the brushes got many, the paint of better quality and the creation my own. Now! my walls are full of art. Art is so diverse, its the fun of doing it that keeps me going.

We live in a world that tells us what is and what is not possible, but we should decide for ourselves what is and what is not possible. In each one of us, there is a creator, we are surrounded by creativity and endless possibilities. We just have to dare and put an idea into action.

Before I paint I set the empty canvas on a chair and sometimes it sits there for days, then one day I get out my paint and paint. My experience with art is helping my niche...... and you?
