Super Affiliate Progress

Hi!

Just wanted to write about what has happened in the last couple of days.

Since I got the mail from Kyle about being part of the Super Affiliate training I have done a lot of work.

Design

First, I "re-design" my site that I'm gonna use for promoting WA. The site is: AffordLuxuries.com and is targeting people that want to live a more luxurious life and get out of debt.

I did find "tons" of great keyword to use (as I think anyway) and also found some great resources to get information from. The tips about using "Magazines.com" to get ideas about content is superb!

The hardest part has been to create a nice looking logo. I tried Canva.com but it just did not fit my taste somehow...Anyway, since I'm using the software "gimp" from time to time, I decided to create a header and logo with that instead. I think it worked out pretty well except that the circle around the name is not as "smooth" as a wanted it to be.

Another thing I have been working with is the themes and how to arrange the widget area. I guess I will change that one in the future but for now, it's good enough.

The free themes are giving me a headache. Its always something annoying that you can't change easily. Finally, however, I found I theme that I'm quite happy with except the widget area that I would prefer to be placed a little bit lower so it would be aligned with the post (hard to explain what I mean in English, sorry). As it is today, I need to have the "search bar" on top of the widget so that the rest will be aligned with the post.

I have come up with a list of 50 keywords that I can use. All keywords have QSR under 100 and make sense to the niche.

Content

I have not been produced many articles this week. Just 2 articles with about 1000 word each and 1 review for an affiliate product. The site has a couple of other articles that I made last week included a review of Wealthy Affiliate.

Other things that have happened:

My other site, LuxuryYachtCharterPro.com has also been re-make. I think the logo and header that I created became pretty good. Everything made in Gimp.

Now, I need to start creating content and I do have some ideas that I will publish. Still, my focus is on promoting WA but since my love for boating is so strong, it's very hard to not do anything with my other site.

Anyway, that's about everything I have to say now. My kids are waiting for me to go down to the frozen lake and play some ice-hockey. Thing is, they are getting better and better on skating and very soon they gonna beat me! Help ;-)
