Update: Life Is Throwing Curve Balls
So, I am having to develop some life strategies. Sounds cool, yes?! But, when life happens, throwing curves balls from multiple angles, you wonder if anything you are doing really works.
Currently, I am awaiting hubby's appointments tomorrow, Tuesday, starting with lab work 8 am, MRI 9 am, and Endo is at 2:30 . He has a prolacitinoma, a pituitary adenoma, a benign, but, functioning tumor, meaning it is secreting prolactin. His tumor was found July 13 of 2012. It has been a frustrating journey and the meds wreck havoc on him. Being a benign tumor, it can still grow and cause a multitude of problems. the meds cause problems, the med to counteract the meds cause problems. Ugh, we really want to go natural and they will must like keep bucking us and suggest surgery, which will take his pituitary and put him on MORE meds.
With Obamacare, we have been putting off doctor appointments because the deductible went up 90%. Not a good idea, considering now that his vision is impaired and his headaches are everyday and thru the roof painful. But, you struggle to survive and deny you need help until it is obvious problem. We all do it, right?!
It is a lot on a plate, but, there are others with so much more than this, so, will not complain...
So, with that said, I am pretty quiet around here and frantically trying to find solutions to save or make money, as well, as working on my goals around here on my sites!
Just wanted to say hello and miss my friends and helping around here! I wish you all the best in your goals. Haven't forgotten anyone!
Love you all. Thinking of you, PJ

I am so sorry PJ. I went through a very small portion of that a few years ago with a thyroid tumor. They wanted to remove my thyroid but I said no. I found that selenium and iodine helped. I don't know where it will end up eventually. It was not benign, but I have an infection that can cause thyroid tumors.
I know that is not the same thing, but it was very scary being told I had cancer.
I wish you and your family the very best of luck. Good for you for trying to find natural solutions for your husband.
Hello, there Jessica, I very much appreciate and sympathize with your life story. Thank you for sharing that with me. Hugs!
As we are all thinking of you and your family Paula......best wishes to Mr PJ, I know you'll be strong enough to care for you all.
Don't really know the ins and outs of Obamacare but over here it's all free on the National Health Service but we also have private health care for those who can afford it or have health care insurance.
