I've read this so many times from people here that I respect and now I thought it was time for me to make a start on that myself.
I have been concentrating on making my site more attractive to visitors and I feel I am winning that one by the steady increase in daily hits. As a result my affiliate links are slowly getting more clicks as well, so on the whole I'd say it's on the up and up.
Now that traffic is in a growth phase I thought it was time to take it to the next level.
What is this list thing all about?
Well, I am on a mission to find all this out. So far I have installed Sumome list builder which puts a little pop-up on my site inviting people to join and receive a newsletter so they can be first to hear about new updates on my site. Cool, I thought, let's do that.
Hmmm, I wonder where the newsletter is going to come from.

Ok, so I collect these names in this great list and then I have to put together a newsletter in some timely manner so they don't get bored and forget me.
THIS IS GREAT! I now will have another reason to write, write, write. I have some customers who actually want to hear from me. They like what I wrote and want to read more. Nice feeling.
I got so excited, that went out and created a proper logo for my site which I hope to put on my emails that I send out. This is a chance to make some real brand impact and drive up authority for my site. This is EXCITING!
In the first 3 days, I collected 5 contacts! People like it!
Onward and upward.
