Get your Gravatar!!!
I discovered that just yesterday, so I do not mean at all to make myself appear smarter than I am...
As we know, comments are the blood life of our blogs. They globally increase SEO rankings and give credibility to our contents. So, why not putting a face on them??? Google used to propose to do that for its results, up until recently, because visitors then relate much more to already attractive descriptions and titles.
The same is true for our own blogs. It is much more pleasant to see faces than a dumb greyish avatar next to the comments about our articles. It works on two important levels, when you think about it. It is good for you to have your face next to a comment you leave somewhere because you are more likely to get noticed; and it is good for you as well because if other people do the same, your blog will have a somewhat friendlier and more welcoming layout.
But why a "Gravatar", may you ask. This is just the name of the application to use in order to get this done with Wordpress. Go to gravatar.com, click, click, et voila! Your pretty face for the whole world to see on any website where you register (or comment) with the particular email address you want your picture linked to.
Months ago, I would have been shy about this. I have eventually come to the realization that many people already have had to get used to what I look like since I was born.
Internet therapy maybe?

lol .. & you look very handsome so don't worry about it .. : ) & a good suggestion by the way ..
It is very kind of you. I worry above all about the absence of personal avatars, and better even of pictures of people we interact with on our blogs.
I did not have one as I was not sure how to do it, also since the updates worry about new plugins will venture there thank you
Hi Katie. It is not a plugin but apparently an added functionality to Wordpress. You will not have to worry about updates or an overload of plugins on your site.
