Niche Diverge

Hello to all WA members.

I will like to ask for opinions on the way of working with a main niche. I would like to diverge from my niche and perhaps converge, as at this time I am in danger of repeating content again as this has happened in a couple of posts.

Any opinion would be very welcome.

Take care and stay well.

Phill

Use Kyle's technique of using Google's guess search system to provide you with ideas.

Browse through other "competitor" sites see if they can inspire you into new content ideas

Join social media platforms like Facebook groups within your niche or forums. There are literally endless amounts of ideas from these things

Go to a library and rework topics from books.

You should never be able to run out of content ideas.

Also what about, running through your existing posts and seeing if you can make separate posts elborating on key sub topics.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your great reply. This is what I need, someone who is willing to help and not criticising.

Glad I could help

I would say if you are running out of content ideas just 2 months into writing your blog you need to either study your niche more or change to a niche you know instead of one you are looking at making money with because money is there if you just have great content that is unique.

My first niche was pets. People spend $billions on food, care and toys for their pets and I love dogs and cats. I don't care anything about birds and I don't care if a snake is happy and well cared for. The only good snake is a dead snake.

I like fish in an aquarium but if a fish dies just flush it down the toilet and buy another one. No emotional attachment whatsoever.

Hamsters and ferrets are cute and playful but I've never been around them. So I narrowed the focus to dogs and cats. Did I mention that I love dogs and cats?

I wrote one post. About cats. I decided that I couldn't write about dogs and cats every day. I still love dogs and cats.

Understood, some people like member Fran K. can. She has a very successful cat blog and writes nearly daily to it. For many that love of niche can turn upside down if you don't also ask the serious question of can I write about this for the next 10 years? Being in a tough to write niche requires a ton and a half of research, things like information about each breed, food types and brands etc..

I hate to do research. Now I'm concentrating on my MMO blog. I find it easy to find lots to write about without having to do too much research

Awesome, I am in that area myself with 16 years experience writing for affiliate, network marketing, and MLM blogs. If I can help let me know.

Thanks. There sre so many options for things to write about and promote. I know I will do well if I can get enough targeted traffic

By the way have you ever heard of sendinblue? It is an autoresponder. You can send up to 400 messages a day before you have to pay. Next tier is $25. Top tier is 50,000 a day for $66. Way cheaper than awrber or getresponse
